WELCOME TO THE NORTH YORK STORM
NYS is looking for OFFICIALS and TIME KEEPERS. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED PLEASE CONTACT US AND SEND OFFICIALS LEVEL OR TK Experience to: REFS@NorthYorkStorm.com
Are you interested in Coaching? Consider joining the NYS Family and we guarantee you'll have a hockey experience that is second to none.
What makes NYS different? We have a dedicated Coaches Dressing Room at our home rink where you can leave your personal items and on-ice equipment in a safe and secure area. That's right, you don't have to lug that gear around any longer.
And that's just for you. What do we provide your team? A dedicated NYS Lounge for pre or post game or practice video or team meetings. The lounge is a safe and comfortable place fully equipped with WiFi and a 72" television, perfect for game tape review. In addition, a fully dedicated North York Storm General Manager is available to all teams to ensure all things are taken care of: season plans and budget, ice allocation catered to your team's program, equipment and apparel organized and delivered.
Colin Chaulk, current Assistant Coach Bakersfield Condors (AHL), former Assistant Coach Belleville AHL and Head Coach Brampton Beast ECHL, is our dedicated Coach and Player Development consultant. Have a question about the power play? Or want a new way to teach a specific drill? Colin is your resource, on-hand, at your service.
With Vanessa Crone, former Olympian and NYS Powerskating Coach, and Leo James of React Hockey, dedicated NYS Skills Coach, you have resources at your finger tips to ensure you, your team and individual player development can excel from day one.
We have partnered with TPA Sports and Jesse Cook for almost eight years. The dedication of Jesse and his staff have provided a consistent and professional off-ice training environment for all NYS teams. And the best part is, since TPA Sports is located in our home arena, your team doesn't have to dedicate another night to off-ice training. NYS works with teams, and Jesse, to prepare a program that aligns with your scheduled on-ice practice nights or days.
